1) Who do you work with?
Businesses where the person is the business. Brokers, agents, artists, educators, practitioners, farms, and small business owners — people who get chosen personally and usually don't have a marketing department. Industry matters less than that: I've done a mortgage broker and a painter in the same month.
2) What do you offer?
Three things, mainly:
- Mockups & product visualization — packaging, art-in-room, merch previews, e-commerce imagery, and design-option comparisons. See it before you make it.
- Hand-drawn illustration — custom illustration, logo marks, engravings, crests, mascots, and spot work. Drawn from scratch.

- Social & content systems — template systems, carousels, campaign graphics, infographics, and pitch decks, built so you can run them yourself.
I also take on print and collateral work — menus, brochures, flyers, packaging — for existing clients and good fits.
3) How does pricing work?
- Mockups & visualization

Once I understand your scope, timeline, and deliverables, I'll send a clear quote with everything included.
4) Do you use AI?
Yes, deliberately — mostly in mockups and visualization, where it generates raw material I then rebuild by hand in Photoshop. AI is very good at generating an asset and very bad at knowing which asset should exist. It has no taste, no restraint, and no idea what your business is actually trying to say. That gap is where my work lives.
I've been a working photographer for a decade, with work exhibited in Montreal and Johannesburg. That's the part of this that isn't automatable — knowing whether the light falls right, whether the scale reads true, whether the mood matches what you're selling.
Illustration work is drawn by hand, start to finish.
If your brand has AI restrictions or disclosure requirements, tell me up front and I'll scope around them. I'll always tell you where a tool was used in your project.
5) How do you approach a new design project?
My process is calm, collaborative, and strategy-led. We start by clarifying your goals, audience, and where the design will be used. From there, I develop a direction, design with intention, refine based on feedback, and deliver final files that are ready to launch.
6) What do you need from me to start a project?
To begin smoothly, I’ll ask for:
- A short overview of your business + goals
- What you need designed (deliverables + sizes, if known)
- Your target audience
- Any existing brand assets (logo files, colors, fonts, photos, copy)
- Examples of styles you like (optional but helpful)
7) How do payments work?
Most projects require a deposit to book your spot, with the remaining balance due before final delivery (or split into milestones for larger scopes). You’ll receive an invoice with payment details and a clear breakdown of what’s included.
8) How long does it typically take to complete a design project?
Timelines depend on scope and feedback, but typical ranges are:
- Small projects (single graphics, quick social assets): 5–7 business days
- Medium projects (collateral sets, content batches): 1–2 weeks
- Brand identity projects (logo suite + guide + supporting assets): 2–4 weeks
If you have a deadline, share it up front and I’ll confirm availability.
9) Do you offer rush orders?
Yes—rush service is available for select projects when my schedule allows. Rush orders include an added fee and a tighter turnaround, while still keeping the process clear and organized. Reach out with your deadline and deliverables and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
10) Can I request revisions, and if so, how many?
Yes. Most projects include two rounds of revisions so we can refine the details and ensure everything feels aligned. Additional revisions can be added if needed, billed based on the scope of changes.
11) What’s included in a project—and what’s not?
What’s included depends on the package or custom scope, but you’ll always receive a clear list of deliverables, sizes, and file formats. Common exclusions (unless we agree otherwise) may include: copywriting, printing services, and stock photo/font licensing.
12) Will I own the final designs / can I use them anywhere?
You’ll have full rights to use your final approved designs for your business marketing and brand use. If you need source/editable files (like AI files) or extended usage/licensing terms, I can include that in your package or quote.
13) How do you deliver final design files?
Final files are delivered in the formats you need—typically PNG/JPG for digital, PDF for print, and AI/EPS when vector/source files are included. Larger projects are delivered in an organized ZIP folder, and I can provide multiple versions for different platforms on request.
14) Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes, and it's how most of my clients work with me long-term. Monthly retainers cover recurring content design, campaign support, and updates so your visuals stay cohesive as you grow.
- Starter — $750/month. A set number of deliverables, two-business-day turnaround, priority scheduling.
- Growth — $1,500/month. Larger volume, campaign planning, quarterly refresh of your template system.
Both are month-to-month after an initial three-month term.
